Jason Voorhees is the main character from the Friday the 13th series.
The character’s physical appearance has gone through many transformations.
The hockey goalie mask did not appear until Friday the 13th Part III.
Since then Jason gets his superhuman strength, regenerative powers,
and near invulnerability and wearing the now-iconic goalie mask.
It was made by being molded from a Detroit Red Wings 00.
It would become a staple for the character for the rest of the series.
